The GREEN Program: “Bicycle Day”

On this extended edition of our normally three-hour Green program, we recognize not only the stoner holiday “4/20” but also the momentous April 19th of 1943, when Swiss chemist Albert Hoffman first intentionally ingested his newly synthesized drug, LSD, at his laboratory. Feeling the onset of what would come to be called the psychedelic effects, Hoffman decided to go home from his lab - but, due to wartime fuel rationing, he was traveling entirely by bicycle. Thus began the strangest bike ride ever taken! Please enjoy three (and a half!) hours of finely curated electronic music with few interruptions as DJ Pussywillow takes you on a journey!

Little by little I could begin to enjoy the unprecedented colors and plays of shapes that persisted behind my closed eyes.
